A really super find! Circa 1880's and inspired by the Aesthetic Movement which took its cues from the art of Japan and China in particular to create jewels such as this, in Silver and beautifully shaped and hand engraved with blossoms and fans. Entirely hand crafted, likely in the famous jewellery quarter in Birmingham, it is hinged and suitable for a slightly smaller than average wrist, the circumference measures 7.5 inches and fastens with a hidden clasp. Measures just over one inch at the widest part.
