Circa 1910's, a finely constructed and elegant bangle bracelet set with five cushion shaped blue Sapphires and four old hand cut Diamonds, again cushiony shaped. Likely made in one of the workshops in the great jewellery quarter of Birmingham, this antique bracelet reflects the lightness of design so fashionable at the time. In a slightly rosy 9ct yellow Gold which still shows some traces of the original brighter gilding finish, with pretty engraved details to the side, it fits an average wrist and fastens with a hidden clasp and safety chain. Weighs 10 grams.
