A fascinating Victorian era 'steampunk' styled bracelet of assembled from Verge Fusee pocket watch escapements from the early 1800s, featuring ornate chased style work with scrolling foliate designs.

A jewellery fad of the Victorian era involved the making of items from the wheel caps of old watches, 'watch cocks'. These round, flat pieces of the chase-work fittings came from inside antique watches circa 1740's-80's and can be highly ornamental. Once removed from the watch, they were connected by circular jump rings and made into bracelets, necklaces, brooches and earrings.

Several of the pieces are doubled in a back to front way and each is different; the links and clasp are of Gilded Silver.
